I was just about to signup for Yahoo account as i forgot the password of my old yahoo account . and all of a sudden i get this message that mobile number is necessary for signup .
I remember the days when anyone could signup for yahoo account even if you don't have a mobile number . Making the compulsion of mobile number for signup isn't a good move by yahoo and bad news for those who don't want to share their mobile numbers online . Though mobile number provides a good additional security layer to your email account but this should be optional . So now if you want to signup for yahoo then you better have a mobile number to feed before signup as Mobile number is now required for signup of yahoo.
